This kit is required if you desire to be able to start and stop your generator from a remote location. This is particularly convenient if you are using your generator with your RV, or for home backup power in cold climates. Kit comes with 25 feet of extension cable. Additional 25 foot extensions are also available.
This kit also includes the parts to convert it from a manual choke system to an automatic choke system. Installation by our technicians on your new generator is Highly recommended.
However for the do it yourselfers this kit may be purchased separately if you wish to install it yourself (not recommended unless you have full knowledge of both DC and AC theory)
Note: Damage that occurs do to an improperly installed remote system is not covered under warranty!
